With so many different brands and makes of chests of drawers, it can be a bit hard to choose the right ones for you. Of course, your budget will also determine what you are able to get, but another important determining point is the style you want the room, or your home, to be. You can have a contemporary, traditional or elegant look to the room; just make sure that the furniture you get all jives both in style and color.
Wooden furniture is always considered classy; some wooden chests of drawers are more suitable to the bedroom while others look great in public areas of the house. If you have the budget for it, Butler Heritage makes some beautiful 4-drawer rustic solid pine chest of drawers; they cost over $1200 but look great in most any living room.
However, you do not need to spend this much to get a nice looking living room set. Somerset makes some nice looking ones out of wood composite that are larger and cost under $300 per set; although hardwood looks a lot nicer if you can afford it.
If you need something for the bedroom then white is a good choice of colors, especially if you are getting something for the nursery. South Shore makes a very nice, large four drawer set that is only $135; they also make sets in different shades of brown.
Venture makes one that has 6 drawers and costs only $140. If you choose something smaller for right by your bed then it is possible to get something nice looking for under $100; both Venture and South Shore sell models that are cheaper. However, if you want something larger that is good quality then you should expect to pay at least between $100 – $200, regardless of size and style.
